Napkin Rings
This is the pattern for a basic napkin ring.  You can easily add any type embellishment that you want.  And any color can be used.  Be creative!

Materials needed:

Small amounts of #10 cotton thread in your choice of colors.
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Sewing needle.

Ch 11

Round 1.)  DC in 4th ch from hook and each remaining chain.  Skipped chains count as first DC.  Total: 9 DC.

Round 2.)  Ch 6, turn, (counts now and throughout as 1st DC and ch 3), skip next 3 DC, DC in next DC, skip next 3 DC, DC in last DC.

Round 3.)  Ch 3, turn, (counts as 1st DC now and throughout.  In next ch 3 space do 3 DC, DC in next DC, # DC in next ch 3 space, DC in last DC.

Repeat rounds 2 and 3 eight more times.  Repeat round 2 once more. 

Join piece together by matching up both ends and slip stitch across.
Finish off and sew up all loose ends.

Add any embellishment by sewing onto the napkin ring at the sewn together junction.
