La Plata Pluma Soaps and Lotions was established in December of 2006.  I went online in April of '06 in hopes of increasing sales.  I started making the soaps and lotions, first because I find it enjoyable and relaxing, and second as a way to put a little extra money away for my grandson's college education.  I did a lot of research before I started this venture, to find the best ingredients for my products.  All my soap bases are Allergen free.  NOTHING has been tested on animals.  I have plenty of family more than willing to try everything out!  The soaps have even been used on my grandson (he is just 7 months) and he has psoriasis and he has had no problems with the soaps.  The lotions are not thick, as I use 12 oz. of goat's milk per 32 oz water.  This makes them a milky consistency, which work quickly into your skin, leaving it soft, smooth and non greasy feeling.  I use 2 different types of preservatives in the lotions so the goat's milk doesn't sour.  These also prevent against bacteria and staph as well.
