| Materials Needed: About 2-3 oz of worsted weight cotton yarn, Size H crochet hook, yarn needle. Special Stitches: Long Single Crochet (LSC). Insert hook in space indicated (in this pattern it will be two rows below the row you are working on), pull up a loop, yarn over and draw through both loops on hook. Chain 38 Row 1: SC in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. (37 sc) Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first DC), turn, *skip next two stitches, in next stitch do (dc,sc,dc), * repeat from * across to last three stitches. Skip next two stitches, dc in last stitch. Row 3: Ch 1, turn. SC in same stitch, ch 3, * sc in next sc, ch 3* repeat from *across. SC in last stitch. Row 4: Ch 1, turn. sc in same stitch. *(LSC in skipped stitch of row 2) twice, sc in next sc* Repeat across. Row 5: Ch 1, turn. Sc in same stitch and each stitch across. (37 sc).
