materials needed: small amount of worsted weight cotton yarn, size H crochet hook, size J crochet hook, yarn needle, old cd not in use
Special Stitches: Beginning Shell (Beg SH): ch 3, 2dc in space indicated, ch 2, 3dc in same space. Shell (SH): 3dc-ch2-3dc in space indicated. Long Triple Crochet: (LTC) YO twice,insert hook in st in previous row, YO, draw through loop, draw through 2 loops on hook, repeat twice more. Long Triple Crochet completed. MAKE TWO
Chain 5: join with sl st to form a ring.
Round 1: Ch 1, sc in ring, do 9 more sc in ring (10 sc
)Round 2: ch3-dc in same st, ch 2- 2dc in same st, skip next sc, *in next sc, do: 2dc-ch2-2dc, skip next sc* Repeat * around, join with a slip stitch to 3rd ch of beg ch3.
Round 3: Sl st in next dc and next ch 2 sp. In ch 2 sp do Beg SH (ch3-2dc-ch2-3dc), LTC in skipped st of previous row, * SH in next ch 2 space, LTC in skipped st of previous row* Repeat * around. Join with sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 3.
Round 4: Sl st in next 2dc and next ch 2 sp. Beg SH in same ch 2 sp, LTC in sk DC of previous row, DC in next LTC, LTC in sk DC o previous row. *SH in next ch 2 sp, LTC in sk dc of previous row, DC in next LTC, LTC in sk dc of prev row* Repeat * around. Join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 3.
Round 5: Sl st in next 2dc and next ch 2 sp. Ch 1, sc in same space, ch 6, * skip next 4 st, sc in next stitch, ch 6, sc in next ch 2 sp, ch 6* Repeat around joining with sl st to first sc. Finish off first piece and weave in ends. After completing 2nd piece, DO NOT FINISH OFF.
Joining: Match two pieces together. Join with a sl st at matching points, ch 1, sc in same stitch. 6 sc in next ch 6 space (make sure to crochet around both ch 6 spaces),* sc in next sc, 6 sc in next ch 6 space.* Repeat * around. Join with a sl st to first sc. About half way through joining, slip in CD.Round 2: Beg SH in same st as joining, DC in next 13 st, *SH in next st, DC in next 13 st* Repeat around. Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 3. Finish off, weave in all ends.

Round 9: Sl st in next 2dc and next ch2 sp. Beg SH in same sp, LTC in st of previous row. DC in next 11 stitches, LTC in st of previous row. *SH in next ch 2 sp, LTC in st of previous row, DC in next 11 stitches, LTC in st of previous row* Repeat around, join with a sl sto to 3rd ch of beg ch 3.
Round 10: Ch 1 sc in same st and each st around doing 3 sc in each ch 2 space.
Finish off and weave in ends.
5 Star Pot holder:
Use 2 strands of yarn and a size J crochet hook.Ch 5, join with a sl st to form a ring.
Repeat rounds 1-5 of Dishcloth
.Round 6: Ch 1, sc in same sp and in each st around doing 3 sc in each ch 2 space. In one of the ch 2 spaces, do the following: sc, sc, ch10, sc. This will form your loop for hanging.
