Comfort Square
	Materials needed:  Samll amounts of 3 colors of worsted weight yarn.  Size I crochet hook.  Yarn needle.Special Stitches:  V-Stitch (V-St):  dc-ch2-dc in space indicated.  Beginning Shell (Beg Sh):  ch 3-2dc-ch2-3dc in space indicated.  Shell (Sh):  3dc-ch2-3dc in space indicated.  Long Triple Crochet (LTC):  YO twice, insert hook in st indicated (which will be one row below the row you are working on), yo, draw up a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook (3 times). With color A, ch 6, join with a sl st to form a ring Rnd 1:  Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1 sp), dc- ch 1 SEVEN times in ring.  Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 4. Rnd 2:  Ch 5 (counts as dc and ch 2 sp), *dc in next dc, ch 2*.  Repeat * around.  Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 5.  Finish off color A .Rnd 3:  Join color B with a sl st in any ch 2 sp.  Ch 5 (counts as 1st dc and ch 2 sp) dc in same sp, ch 2.  3 DC in next ch 2 sp, *V-St in next ch 2 sp, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2*  Repeat * around.  Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 5. Rnd 4:  Sl st in next ch 2 sp, Ch 5 (counts as 1st dc and ch 2 sp) dc in same sp, ch 2.  3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 3, skip next 3 dc, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2.  *V-St in next ch 2 sp, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 3, sk next 3 dc , 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2*  Repeat * around.  Join with a sl st to 3 rd ch of beginning ch 5.  Finish off color B Rnd 5:  Join color C with a sl st in any corner V-St ch 2 sp.  Beg Sh in same sp, ch 2, dc in next 3 dc, LTC in next 3 sk dc of previous row, dc in next 3 dc, ch 2, skip next ch 2 sp.  *Sh in next ch 2 sp (of V-st).  ch 2, dc in next 3 dc, LTC in next 3 sk dc of previous row, dc in next 3 dc, ch 2, skip next ch 2 sp*  Repeat * around.  Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 3.  Finish off color C. Rnd 6:  Join Color A witha  sl st in any corner sh ch 2 sp.  Beg Sh in same sp, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 3, skip next 3 dc, dc in next 3 st, ch 3, skip next 3 dc, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2.  *Sh in next sh, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, skip next 3 dc, dc in next 3 st, ch 3, skip next 3 dc, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2*  Repeat * around.   Join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 3.  Finish off Color A. Rnd 7:  Join color B with a sl st in any corner sh ch 2 sp.  Beg Sh in same sp, ch 3, dc in next 3 dc, LTC in next 3 sk dc of previous rown, dc in next 3 st, LTC in next 3 sk dc of previous row, dc in next 3 st, ch 3.  *Sh in next sh ch 2 sp, ch 3, dc in next 3 dc, LTC in next 3 sk dc of previous rown, dc in next 3 st, LTC in next 3 sk dc of previous row, dc in next 3 st, ch 3*.  Repeat * around, join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 3.  Finish off color B. Edging:  Join color C with a sl st in any corner sh ch 2 sp.  ch 2, 2 hdc in same sp, hdc in next 3 st, 3 hdc innext ch 3 sp.  HDC in each st around working 3 hdc in each ch 3 sp and 3 hdc in each corner ch 2 sp.  Finish off and weave in all ends.
